OUR AIM
FITNESS & RECOVERY
Our aim is to bring people together who may be struggling with their mental health or are in recovery from substance misuse. To teach them the fundamentals of boxing and hold weekly exercise/boxercise classes that can help clients with their self esteem and coinfidence. By taking part in our program clients integrate and meet a new social group that can be beneficial when attempts are being made for self development. As a company Sober Wolfs ambition is to become part of the solution for people who want to leave unhealthy coping mechanisms through substance misuse behind that occurred while in active addiction and those behaviours that superseded and may have been what lead them into addiction in the first instance. We aim to not only increase clients physical health and mental well being but to be fully inclusive of all clients helping them to feel at ease and develop social skills.
EXPERIENCE & pROGRESS
It is the club’s ambition that as the service users develop experience in the club program, they can qualify as volunteers and gain vital skills in how to operate in social groups and in the workplace. This can benefit them when applying for jobs and become a part of their experience that can be used as they progress in to work life and can feature on their CV for future employment
